FS2000 Pro AP-2E Neptune US Army

This model represents the "Burbank Boomerang", Tail Number 131492 of the 1st Aviation Company (Radio Research), US Army Security Agency. This aircraft was used to collect signals intelligence duuring the Vietnam War. The unit and it's aircraft were based at Cam Ranh Bay, Vietnam. This aircraft and their crews, along with other Army, Navy, Air Force intelligence collection aircraft (RU-1 Otters, RU-6 Beavers, RU-8D and RU-8G Seminoles, RU-21 Utes, UH-1 Left Bank and others-Army; EC-47P/Q DRILLPRES and SENTINEL SARA, EC-121, RC-135 COMBAT APPLE, RB-66 and others-Air Force, and EA-3B, EP-3E, and EC-121-Navy) provided some of the finest and most critical intelligence during the war, and their contributions may never be fully revealed. This aircraft is my way of saying thanks to my old ASA, NSG, 1RadioBn, and AFSS comrades in arms.

This aircraft is my first FS project. I would like to acknowledge the designers and developers of the basic SP-2H Neptune which was issued in FS 98:
Phillip Stokes for the original model, which was repainted and modified by Bob Tremblay. The panel was by Johan Crous, and the excellent sounds by Mike Hambly, FSD.

I added the default FS2K GPS to the aircraft panel. Shift+3 will get you the GPS display in he upper right hand corner of the cockpit window.

The textures are repainted to reflect the color scheme as it appeared in 1967-1972. I hope to update the color scheme with minor cosmetic changes sometime in the near future.

Installation: Normal, aircraft to an aircaft folder of your choice. Gauges to the FS2000 gauge file in the main FS2000 directory.
